im in search of a nice alarm

anyone know if this would be a good alarm, my friend pulled it off of his car before he sold it and said he will sell me the alarm for 100, he got it off of ebay and gave me the link of all the specs. it seemed okay from what i saw. i just wanted to ask you guys does all the specs seem about right, anyone know if it is reliabole, safe, and actuly can proterct my car. he has shock sensor and microwave sensor (<<<<what is this)

LINK TO ALARM SPECS

it has a crap load of features, i jus wanna make sure it works, of course he tells me they all work but he is tryin to sell this so he would say anything lol.

btw is it ok to buy a used alarm, i dont wanna risk havein it mess up or anything, its about 4 months old.

shock sensor = people will set it off on purpose to **** you off..around here we get the person with the loudest exhaust to set em off so they get ticketed for their alarm going off for several minutes. It's fun.

Youll be lucky if you get that thing to last you a year, its a piece of ****. Buy a Viper from Don, or at least another DEI alarm, and then come up to Gainesville and ill install it

Buying a used alarm is fine if its a DEI because they have lifetime warranty on it. If it breaks you send it back in and they send you a new one.

If your extremely tight on cash at least get another name brand, which still wont compare to DEI but at least youll have a big enough brand to know theyll probably be around tomorrow. Like Code Alarm or something

wasn't trying to tell you what a shock sensor is/does...was trying to tell you a shock sensor is going to be more irritating than practical..
