Sound question with BOSE

Hey guys...I have an SE with BOSE and I used to have a great SONY deck after having my stock. I recently purchased this deck below and have had nothing but problems:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1099389601316

First of all after BB installed it the speakers sound hella crappy after turing it about 18 on volume...anything with bass sounds extremely horrible. Another thing is that the antenna always stays up but even with my stock and sony also the antenna would only go up when listening to the radio only. Yet another shortfall of this JVC is that when I accelerate I hear this whinny high-pitched noise anytime I have the unit on....its like it is picking up the noise for acceleration...could this somehow be related to the antenna being up??

Lastly the reason I got this deck is because it was one of the cheapest that has DVD playback and I have that 7" microvision. BB hooked up some green wired, they said, to the emergency break so I couldn't watch DVD's while driving.....I would never do that but I am going on VACA next month and want my passengers to be able to watch...how would I go about fixing that issue....do most place hardwire it? I will prolly just take apart the dash and fix that part myself but the rest I need a TON of help on as I know almost nothing about audio.....thanks for any help!!
