portable dvd player in car

I have an apex pd450 portable dvd player (yes I know its cheap, but i got it for free) Everything works but I need a remote. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a way to get the audio to play though the system. I thought that maybe if i just plugged the rca wires into the aux-in ports that it should just play through, but this did not work. Any help would be much appreciated.

if the unit has RCA outs on it, and your cd player has AUX-in ports, it should work.. are you sure you have the auxilary setting turned on on your cd player?

I don't think so. I don't know how I would do that. I have a panasonic df600u head unit. I didnt get a manual with it (bought it off a friend) but I guess I can try to find one online.
P.S. I like that "Surgeon General says nothing about smoking a FORD" I've smoked some probes and escorts and a few old 4 banger stangs but thats it

haha yea me too (about the fords).. but anyways def find a manual and look it up, cus i know to turn on AUX on my cd player its this big long really strange process, the cd player has to be off first, its not just one button. Im pretty sure thats your only problem.
