led sub grill

I found this sub grill on ebay. I want to get somthing like that for my trunk but it's too expensive and I don't like how it changes color. How hard woudl it be to make something like this... sub grill

They have spinner grilles now too. I saw them in a magazine and on Pimp My Ride.

Ya this kid at my school has spinner grills with a motor so it spins all the time...
