Have an old majestic amp and a cobra amp that can power the CDT speakers if necessary.

Will this set up sound pretty nice? I have my CDT speakers on the way to my house as we speak.

 

Amp the CDT's. All in all it should sound very good.

 

id say get a solid amp for the speakers because that h/u needs some upgrading in the future.

 

The viper (said the wrong name) amp is very solid surprisingly, the hu is temporary, I bought it a year ago for 25 dollars. I havent decided If i want to do the 7'' screen or get a clarion double din to restore a bit of the stock look.

 

lol, ok. i had no clue what a cobra amp was and left it at that.

 

lol yeah, it's a discontinued viper amp, rated @ 200w rms @ 4ohm. That should be enough to cover the CDT speakers.
