140A alt??

140A alt??

anyone think that 140A will make any real improvement?? im not sure if what i have is a 110A or 125A alternator at the moment..

No, not really. I would not even think about investing in a new alt unless I was going to upgrade to +200A.

o ya...hmm, u r right. i wonder how much it would cost to have one rewound for 200A if a core is supplied..

As hard as it is to get to the 4th gen alternator, i would definatly get one big enough to power most any system the max can hold. Until then just add batteries, and do the BIG 3.

i done it with 4 ga, maybe 0 ga is what i should do? i didnt think it made a diff considering the output of the stock alt..but i'll give it a shot.
