Ive got a pair of RF fanatics alum. seriers in my front componets and the other day my amp went into protect when i turned it up. now i was pist b/c it was not even that loud. I noticed that there is not sound coming from my tweeter on the right hand side. do you think that its the tweeter or the crossover that is bad? thanks

 

The light bulb inside the X-over should have blown first. Try eliminating the tweeter from that channel altogether to see what happens. The X-over could have gone, the tweeter could have gone or that channel of your amp could be on it's way out.

 

well i checked it out, my damn crossover is out! You think there is a place where i can just buy one of those crossovers. I mean a RF cossover not just some crossover

 

There may be a light bulb inside the X-over that needs to be changed. From what I've seen they use a 10W 12V hologen bulb that can be found at Home Depot. Open the X-over and take a look.
