Need Some Help With Amp Powering!

i posted this in the audio section but i need some quick answers....i hooked up the system today and im not getting any power to my amp...everything is hooked up correctly, ive done many systems before. is it possible that my cap. is blown? the ground that im using is that little bracket on the right side of the trunk that holds the jack in place, i grinded it down on both sides....ive tried 3 different amps...the remote wire is hooked up correctly but no power still...please if you can help me that would be great thanks...

is yoru power connected to battery...do u have all fuses, none blown. thats all i can say hoep that helps

Get a volt meter and check that you're getting power through the power line and remote line. Work your way backward from there.

try a different ground maybe, my grounds are under the carpet. make sure all cables are hooked up and turn the car on, try it without a capacitator.

For one, get a multimeter and check the capacitor for an open. Second, don't hook up the cap and see if you get anything different. Should work.

check all fuses make sure non is blown.
if the amp is not coming on at all maybe ur remote wire be shorted out somewhere.

it could be the remote wire running to the amp itself or the remote wire coming out da back of ur radio harness. if at all possible...connect the remote wire running to ur amp to the red power wire and see if ur amp turns on. if it does den there is ur peoblem. otherwise check for blown fuse. and try another ground location.
