Ok... I woke up this morning for work and when I go to get into my car, I used the remote (as I always do) to open door. I get in, open the hood, take a pic of it, lock the car (with remote again) walk away, my 16 yr old sister is about to jump in so I can take her to school so I remote the car to let her in and I go inside the house for a minute. When I come back and remote the car to open again, BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

And it just wouldnt stop!

I click the alarm button...nothing!
I click the disarm button...nothing!
I click em both simultaneously...MORE NOISES!!!

And then when It finally stopped and I got in to turn on the car, It starts again!

What can I do to stop this from happening...

BTW, I rode to work in my beater.....

 

I purchased this car last tuesday and this is the first time the alarm goes off, I didnt even know it worked!

 

That is interesing, my mom has a 90 SE and about 6 years ago her alarm would go off for no reason. Even now, if you open the trunk with the lever on the side of the front seat instead of the key, the alarm goes off.

Must be one of those Nissan defects.

 

Actually...

All I had to do is put the key in the door and twist...

Im a DORK!

 

the person who installed ur alarm didnt wire up the alarm so that when u disarm the alarm it also dis arms the factory alarm.....
