hmm yea i gota find a terminal cup and if i cant ill just make one somehow..but anyways is it okay to ground the amp to the metal part of the seat that is connected to the frame? or is it not direct enough?

the box is 1.5 cu ft...anyways my questions are..
i have a question on which diagram i should use? the sub is at 4ohms and the amp will be around 400-500 rms at 4 ohms...im kinda confused on which one is the right one..either example 1 or 2..any help or tips would be awesome

MRD-M605 alpine v12..its got like 600 rms at 2 ohms..and i just installed it..system sounds pretty damn good..whole car shakes..but i cant get this gain thing straight..i'm not sure how to set it..ill post pics real soon today

haha sorry for bothering u guys again..but i got a few more questions..anyways..on the amp theres a **** and it says subsonic filter OFF 15Hz or 30 Hz..which one do i pick? also theres a little **** that says LP filter goes from 30Hz to 200 Hz and last theres a know that says LP slope that says 12dB or 24dB..lol im so confused

SSF off because you have a sealed box...however if you want to really prevent the sub from overexcursion put it on. try it at each setting and see how you like it. id set the LPF at 80hz wit ha 24db per octave slope.

yep...you blow it mechanically. depending the the design of the sub it happens slightly different to each driver. overall, just remember going past xmax for extended periods of time causes it to blow mechanically. the SSF's main purpose is to prevent overexcursion in a ported box below tuning when the driver unloads. for sealed boxes it is not necessary but I've had people prefer the sound of the SSF being on which is odd but o well.

hmm i see..i'll leave the filter on then, i love all this bass so far..my mirrors shake like crazy..now all i gota do now is carpet the box somehow..but it seems like there is a lot more bass when listing to cd's rather than the radio..radio u really have to turn it up to hear the bass
