FM Transmitter woes for my Creative 30g mp3 player

I dont know if its the brand but im not happy with the FM transmitter I got from Target, Sonic Impact/SD link-$18, it can choose between 88.0 mhz and 89.5 mhz but the sound that comes through is nothing close to what it is through the headphones, actually im disgusted with it. I got to thinking and was wondering if there is a cable that would attach to the cd changer plug in the back of my Alpine but I doubt such a thing exists... I thought about an aux input but realized my last deck had one and not my new one, then thought about the ant plug but I know there isnt an adapter for that... so any ideas?
