How-to's on wiring from amp to battery?

I've been lookin around on the org forever and I was hoping to find a How-to on finding the best route for wiring from an amp in ure trunk to your battery and head-unit. Maybe I'm not lookin in the right spot or somethin but if someone knows where I could find some helpful instructions I'd really appreciate it... thanx in advance

This is the section on this forum to ask questions like this, but, in asking this type of question it makes me think that you may want to have a professional shop take care of any installations needs that you may have.
Good luck.

I know alot about electronics and I know how to wire the amp and sub and all that... I'm just sayin I really don't know which route would be easiest to wire from the rear to the front hiding all the wires...like I was hoping there would be someone who did a simple write up on that. I haven't had my maxima long and I become insecure about doin some stuff like this because I don't wanna do somethin stupid I will regret in the future...

I ran my power along the driver side. Find a hole in the firewall and remove the side mouldings, seatbelt cover (between the driver and rear seat), and rear seat cushion.

Oh, okay. Just a tip, but you have to be more specific in your questions. And I do not have an answer for you because unfortunately, I still have a pretty stock system.

You mean like when my buddy severed a brake line in my 3rd gen while drilling through the firewall? Stuff is gonna happen and mistakes are gonna be made. While it does pay to do your homework it doesn't pay to be "insecure". Start taking the trim panels off like the others said and you'll begin to see how you can route the wires. One thing you can think about is if your car is an auto there will be a plate where the clutch cable would pass through the firewall. Just remember to keep in mind what is on the other side when you start drilling. And no matter what you're wiring in the trunk don't let someone else drill through your firewall!

Yeah I see what ure sayin, As I start to do more of that stuff myself I'll get better. and even though I will make mistakes, it will be even more to learn from. But thanx

i drilled two half inch holes exactly where Tony has his. i have Four gauge with a rubber grommet with it and then i have all my strobe wires to my switch running through the hole below that it helps out alot. the only problem i had was with the drill i kept nudging the brake booster with the turny part of the eletric drill i dunno the word for it but owell not like a little sharpie can fix up.
