I have a vent mount on my left-most vent.

I've heard vent clips have a tendency to break the vents after a while... particularly on thin vents. Although, a coworker of mine has used his for the last two years with no problems.

I saw a pretty good ipod mount the other day. A little smaller than a palm, but this might work for you. Check it out... (First pick on the thread)

I'm toying with the idea of doing something similar... We'll see...

I've been using the vent mount for ~2 years as well without a problem. The vents on the max are solid.

I am heading out in the car today, so i'll take a picture.

P.S. The ipod mount is clever!
