New Headunit/no Radio!!!

I just got my headunit installed and the radio station signals are very very low now? A Couple Stations Work (the very ones) My bose HU picked all them up great, now I cant even hear a word there saying it is all static? Anyone Know why????????

They didn't connect the power antenna lead in the car. You'll get some stations, but not like before. Check your radio's harness for the actual color; usually the wire's blue with a white stripe or solid blue.

also I noticed I had an Nissan Antenna Adapter that wasnt installed could this also be causing the problem?

yea that could def be the problem the antenna is probably not attached at all

How do I connect it back in Im not to smart with this **** lol

The stock antenna part with the snap tab thing plugs into one side of the adapter and the other side (the metal side) of the adapter plugs into usually the right side (as your looking at the face of the radio) of the radio. Its pretty straightforward and its real easy once you see all of it.

o thats easy too u connect the wire for the power ant. from the radio harness to the cars harness or the adapter harness if you have one, like piker said it should be blue with a white stripe you just twist them together tightly and wrap in electrical tape.

you get a new headunit you cant use one of the 2 stock antennaes; your reception is gonna be poor regardless.

I hardly listen to the radio, but when I do I get decent reception with mine. I can sometimes listen to a couple of Los Angeles stations here in San Diego.
