97 Max - Rear Speaker Bracket Adaptor - Help

I just bought a pair of 6.5" Polk DB650's for the rear deck of a '97 maxima.

I have the old speakers out and the new speakers fit in the hole, but the bolt pattern does not line up. In fact it's not even close.

Maybe I should have bought 6.75" speakers, but I have searched the internet for a speaker bracket adaptor for this car. I couldn't find anything.

Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

thanks.

some speakers labeled at 6.5 arnt really 6.5 they are usually 6 Especially if you bought them at circuit ****ty. But yes 6.75 is what you should have bought. Even though alot of 6.5s fit.
