I have a GXE... and my car did not come with an alarm. I want a pretty good alarm with a keyless entry. What should i get and how much should i pay? Also, wheres a good place to go to get one? Thanks for any suggestions.

 

Directed Electronics is the only way to go. Viper, Clifford, Python, etc, etc. Authorized retailers are the only people who can install DEI alarms, and it depends on price whether you want 2-way pager, or other options. But I would look to pay +/- 350ish. Just go to Directed's site and find local shops, then walk in and get a feel for places. Youll know once you talk to people who work there whether you want them working on your car or not. Or better yet, try to get a recommendation from some locals on places that do quality work.
