XM Radio wont keep Station Presets
Head Unit: Pioneer DVH-P5000MP
XM Unit: TERK Pioneer XM adapter and Tuner
Problem: Before i moved everything from the Maxima into my new car, it was working fine, and working fine while it was in the new car for a while. Well i was installing the LCD screen and the big plug that goes to the tuner from the headunit got f'ed up. Glad i bought the service plan... I went and got a new adapter. Well i pluged everything back up and now it wont keep the station presets. I get it to the station i want, press and hold the number button, it beeps but it still stores it as station 001. I emailed Pioneer, they said it was a problem with the TERK unit, i emaild TERK, they said it was a problem with my Pioneer unit, so F*** them...
Anyone have any clues?

+1. Pioneer add-ons like that get their switched power through the IP BUS cable, so whether its an ipod adapter, xm, sirius...wire it to constant, not switched. If that doesnt solve it, its the Terk box. Ive seen almost as many of the Pioneer Terk XM boxes come back with problems as we've sold since we started carrying them.

would the sat radio still work if the main power was disconnected. Would it be able to get the power from the head to run? I may have popped a fuse, thats a goo thing to check, thanks all!!
