MATT brand amp?

Has anyone ever heard of this brand? Supposedly they are a brand that makes any JL amp bend over in SPL and SQ. I don't know much about them other than the fact that they don't produce an amp under 1000W rms and they are half the price of JL amps. So if anyone has ever heard of them or has any info about them please post, cuase I'm really interested.

MMATS is supposedly pretty decent- but i wouldn't say they make anyone bend over....they do have one 4ch thats not a kw amp- but their SQ line is very shallow

MMATS has been around for quite a few yrs actually....I say ask for some auditions. Memphis is not terribly expensive and is a much more proven name IMO.

I'll say it again ... JL Audio is NOT that great! Their quality is about average to most mid level stuff on the market ... specialty products aside (W6, W7).

MMATS is a time proven, trusted brand ... I would buy MMATS gear in a heartbeat.

I would def recommend Mmats. I have had lots of experience with them. The lure of the lifetime warranty on my Diamond D6 1500.1 was the deal breaker though.

Letting someone install THE amp is a small price to pay to never have to buy another one. Do everything else yourself. I have modified the wiring, placement, and tuning to suit my listening. I am comfortable knowing that I will only need to purchace another bass amp if I wanted to add a second amp. One per 12. Mmmmmmm.
