piece of advice on if you decide to get them. Check with the local police department and see what restrictions they have on them.

A federal law states you cannot have any dark or medium blue facing forward. SD is one of the few where a red cannot be on the front of a vehicle. NY can't have any colors last I heard

Most states have a law that any underglow kits (the front BULB cannot be seen) As this could cause a distraction to drivers coming at you. You wouldn't be surprised how many people here do it anyway. They say the cops don't care... but I'll tell you what they're really doing.

They don't just look for the lights. They wait till you really screw up, then add that onto the ticket. Makes the fine larger... and makes sure they have a paycheck.

yeh in texas they are illegal but the cops dont pull you over and yes if you get a ticket theyll probally add it on but come on who isnt gonna add on stuff to your ticket if they notice it. ne ways to answer your question its reall easy you just have the power run thru your firewall and you can easily set it up to your fuse box. theres extra empty fuses in there for stuff like this thats how i set up some of my lights. oh and if you want a on/off switch all you do iis go to autozone get whichever one u want...i would recomend buying one that fits into those two lil rectangles near your window mirror adjusters near your stearing wheel or near my handrest theres two lil rectangles too. i just popped out those rectangles( there reall easy to pop out with a flat head) and then drill a small hole in it and pop the on/off switch in...it takes like 5 minutes no joke to drill it and put it in, the main thing is just connecting the wire but that tkaes like a extra 3 minutes reall simple you should do it.
