Viper car alarm...problem

Ok I have had my Viper Car alarm for a while now, well since last Oct. I have had a few problems with it and all

But this morning I was getting ready to go to work so I leave the house and unlock my car, and I hear the dread full *beep-beep, beep-beep, beep-beep* This means it out of range, but I was already outside and I heard the siren beep telling me the car was unlocked. I got into the car and drove to work, locked my car and the same thing *beep-beep, beep-beep, beep-beep* so now I am POed so I make sure my car is locked. I take out my battery from the key fob all day at work hoping that when I leave it will be alright, WRONG. I left work unlocked my car and the same thing over again...

Any ideas where to check...

Ill probally just go back to best buy and tell them it stopped working and blah... blah ...blah...

See sig for the model number

If it was installed by BB just take it to them and let them deal with it. I wouldnt even bother to mess with it before they blame me.

Have them replace the remote, that is most likely the problem.

why should you even worry about it? Just take it to Best Buy and let them fix it!
(if its still on warranty )

I have some advise for you take it and have it replaced immediately. Your same problem happened to me like two weeks ago and within three days the remote stopped working all together. I had to use my key to get into my car and put my valet switch on until I get to my audio dealer.

It could very well be a problem with the battery. One of my Viper 791xv remotes started to go buck wild on me and it wouldn't work the alarm. So I replaced the battery and everything went back to normal. I was even using a fairly new Duracell copper top too.
