My 1st install

This is what 8 hours of work on a Sunday got me. We had no idea what we wanted to do, everything was done on the fly. It was a pain in the @$$. I still have to paint the floor. I also didin't take into account the angle that the amps would be visable so you can see the trunk through the plexiglass. Mistakes galore, I'll learn from this install. It wasn't well thought out. The hinges are there so I can take the floor out to access the amp rack underneath which fits in the wheel well. The factory carpet covers the floor so the hinges won't be seen. Sorry about the quality of the pic. The person that helped took the pic with his phone. More pics to come. Tell me what you think. Any suggestions and creative criticsm are appreciated.

well, that picture isn't big enough.
but I think it's pretty good install. especially for having been done on the fly.

I'm very impressed for a first install and on the fly. Good luck with the rest of it.

Tight install, hope you have some fans mounted to vent that out, make sure the sub box ins't fully covering the top amp when you are done. Looks good.

That's a pretty nice install.

Do you expect to not really need a spare, or are you going to burn that bridge when you come to it?

Thanks for all of the positive remarks.

Now to answer the questions.

filtor1 - I probably wont carpet it at all. I may paint it but for now I use the carpet that conceled the spare tire well to cover the floor.

maxgtr2000 - I shouldn't have to use any fans. Those are digital amps and they don't get too hot. The plexiglass is about 3/4 inch higher than the amps. Overheating shouldn't be a problem at all. If i do encounter problems I have some fans sitting around here just incase.

pmohr - The floor is hinged so I can fold the right side of the floor over to remove the floor. The amp rack is also removable. I put finger holes in the floor and amp rack to enable me to get them out easier

BBOYSTEVIE - Yes those are Infinity Betas. 2 Beta 100s for my Focal Polykevlar Component Set. One for the mids and the other for the tweeters. The middle ampis a Beta 300 bridged so the 12" L7 in a ported box is getting 1000 watts.

siballiance - Yes that is Plywood. Got it from Home Depot in a 4x8 ft sheet for $27.99
