I got the Uniden Bct8, it came with wire to connect to power. I need to run it to fuse box underneth the driver side. I need to hockup the wire so it can be turned off when I turn of the key ignotion. How to check which one to I need to wire it to ? Help?

PS: Uniden bct8 is great device to have in Hayways and freeways to catch the hw patroles in the area, it has a range upto 3 miles. better than any readar dector.
The size is like cd deck, I will instaled beneth the my MP3.

 

I have the same one (with a separate head - body unit modification). They are great. You can wire it right to the lighter plug and it is ignition switched.

you mean to use the back wire of the cig. lighter, or to use the cig. lighter
I will youse the cig. ligther for my phone.

The fuse box on lower driver side, can be hocked to extra devices.
Can you help?

 

you can get fuse taps and tap into the power at the fuse box for the cig lighter. that way it will come on with acc and ign

 

I wire it to the fuse box at the driver side run the wire hidden, and walla. it worked.
give me few days. and i will try bosting pic for everyone.
