XM Issues

Ok so i can't search for XM becuase its too short. So i was not able to search real well. So here is my problem, I have A pioneer DEH-P8600MP headunit and a GEX-P920XM XM unit. The connections are good, but it dosent work. I have no sound, but i can read everything on the headunit, as in it comes up XM Radio, and tells me that i am on channel one, but i have no sound.? Hope this makes sense, thanks in advance
