5th gen speaker mounting depth limit

Guys I want to buy some midbass speakers for rear and curious what's the depth limit for speakers? I have nonbose system in my max so I'd use stock speaker-bracket which gives extra 1 1/2 inch. Would i be able to mount 6 inch mounting depth speaker? Thanks.

You have a ton of clearance in the rear doors thanks to our windows only going half way down. I didn't even need rings in the rear doors with my Type-R's which have huge magnets on them. I think you will be fine.

You dont want midbass for rear fill- been there, done that -doesnt sound right. Muddies up the overall sound of your car and pulls your stage back. If you feel you are lacking kick in your midbass, time for better drivers in your front doors(where you will benefit accoustically) and a good door job(dampened).
