super computer

I know about last year there was a thread about someone was going to put in their car a super computer and it was something I though was interesting to do but forgot all about until a recent episode of Pimp my ride. The show had installed a "super computer" into a 2003 toyota corolla.
I am wondering if anyone know of any info about this "super computer" and where to purchase something like this. Any info is greatly appreciated.

www.mp3car.com is the place to go for carputer stuff. Spend a while browsing through the forums, you should be able to find the answers to any questions you have.

I used to have an light blue 85 Maxima. They're hard to find around this area of the country. Especially in good condition. Yours looks nice and clean. How did you keep it that way? I now have an 95 & 98, but I still gotta get a 2nd Gen.

my idea of combo. you can get one of the small mini case 1 cubic foot and build a PC( you might want to get one of the big harddrive ex. 250GB and load your movies to it and alot of songs). you might need to have video card in it so to run it to your TV monitr or nav. system.

You need a converter to power up the PC. cost arount 40.00

If you did not have monitor get one of the LCD for cars. would be nice if you got one of the Touch Screan.

Get a wireless mouse and keybord ex Ultra GT Full-Size brand Gyration, you can find it cheep on ebay. it is Small both the mouse and the keybord with range of 30 feet.

and walla it will be great.
