Bose problems in 6th Gen..

Today I was sitting in my 2004 Max, (equipped w. Bose and nav.) and noticed that the sound is defnitely stronger on the right than the left. So I started playing with the equalizer and found that there is maybe like 10% sound coming from the front speakers, (door and tweeter), rear door speaker and rear deck speaker. It seems very odd that the whole left side could be blown. Maybe a bad wire or connection. Any advice? Like usual, I always come to the forums before the dealer. If I do have to replace the speakers, how difficult would it be to find Bose?

Thanks- Law520

definitely not...I faded to the right, then balanced it out, then to the left. Clearly there is an issue with the left side.

Are you under warranty? Should be. And if so, make the dealer fix it at no cost to you.

If you can...check all connections, and see if wires have come loose. If everything is still in perfect shape, the left channel on your HU could be burning out.

My max is in the shop today for this very reason. Its been a while since anyone has mentioned this problem for the 6th Gen w/ Bose and NaV. If any of you have new experiences or ideas, let me know. When I find out, I'll post what the Nissan dealer tells me....thx
