Thoughts on these comps

Im in the market for new Comps and I've been hearing good reviews for these comps. They seem unusally priced well and specs are also impressive. I listen to a lot of Rap/Reggae/R&B and these will be installed in a IB Application. Im looking for solid Midbass and soft highs. I will be sending them or any other comp set 150 watts RMS a side and it will be crossed(HPF) at 80hz. Thank You and leave your suggestions.

Nice frequency responce, sensitivity could be higher. All other specs look nice too. Never dealt with Phoenix Gold before. If you can, call around and see if anyone has them available for you to listen to them.

I personally ran their Titanium Elites (Morel hybrid setup). The midbass lacked a bit, but better than the former DA HEXs I had. Response was fair, although accuracy could have used some work. The tweeters were very brilliant and bright, but without the harsh raspy sound to them. Over all my opinion on the Elites was for the money theres alot better out there. I would assume the same of the lower Xenons, Ive sold a few sets of them, but havent played with them too much.
