? concerning battery relocation.

can i just use the power wire i had installed for my stereo as the wire to hook my battery up in the trunk, it is 4 gauge wire good quality copper.

also i am assuming i would just ground the neg cable under the hood to the chassis and then reground the battery to something in the trunk.

ne input on this?

Is there an advantage of having the battery in the trunk? If the car is FWD and you move more weight from the front to the back, won't it make your MAX pull instead of push? I'm just using logic here, but won't that make it slower?

Yes, you can do that. I assume its for your stereo and if it is get a isolator. It'll make things easier.

http://www.bcae1.com/battiso.htm, this could prolly explain it better than I ever could. It basically seperates your starting battery from your stereo battery.

The battery in the trunk actually improves the handling of a car since it balances the weight more evenly. I think 4 gauge wire is ok. I am considering this mod for the handling benefit.
