My screen has lines from dvd player..too much voltage or current??

since i got this new DVD player that is now 12v, i don't need my inverter nemore for my reg dvd player that WAS in my car. it's much easier now. but i now get lines on the screen through that dvd player. i believe its getting distorted through the power wire. its connected to the same wire as my head unit and flip out power source. I believe i get lines because there's too much voltage going through the wire i believe?? if so, what ohm resistor should i get....or is it too much current that's causing this since i don't think that 2-3 votls would cause this. how can i fix this, does neone know??

you're getting engine interference through the thin tiny power wire.

Microvision? I had the same thing in mine.
I never solved it so I don't have any suggestions, but try another source or a shielded RCA.

double check your ground to the screen and the dvd player. Mine did this when the DVD player had a loose ground.

yah check the ground. my ps2 and microvision does the exact thing u describe but I really never pay attention to it. It's really really faint on mine though so its not a big deal to me. Nobody has ever noticed it except me.
