more bass outside of car

Hey guys my system recently got jacked(fu$k$rs) i had to put in the factory head unit. i have the boston pro series components in the front, and nothing in the rear as of right now. here is my problem, i have no bass whatsoever inside the car. now outside is a different story, it sounds like i have a small sub. do i have the wires crossed. Would the speakers being out of phase cause this? any help would be great. i wont be getting a system for a while so im stuck with the stock crap

You can try and reverse the phase on each speaker to see if there is a difference, if not get some deflex pads and/or dynamat type matting.
