Ok, this may be helpful for some of you not happy with your pac-x.

Apparently (as some one posted in another thread, pac makes a -ps(model) which is for pioneer and sony hu's that have a wired remote slot. I just called pioneer and according to them the 3700 and up with the exception of the 4700 for some reason all have a wired remote slot.

Unfortunalty as I was finding this info out, I receive my ebay'ed pac-swi-x in the mail

I am going to contact the ebay'er because he has some pac-ps for sell as well, but I most likely will have to ebay it myself.

Anywho, I have got some mix reviews of the -x. Can anyone tell me anything about the ps?.

I actualy just tried hooking up a ROEM-NIS2 for my 97 i30t and I can't even get it to work with my new Pioneer hu. I get absolutely nothing out of the speakers. Does this mean I should try the ps?

 

rattrap, I am learning aswell, but the pac systems are to hook up steering wheel controls.

I think the ROEM-NIS2 is a harness to attach a aftermarket HU to out stock bose speakers/amp. (is this right?)

If that is the case, the 2 are unrelated.
