As far as pricing goes, it all depends on the models. None of which are cheap, although most of you are expecting that.

CALIBRE DL Dual Remote Radar

CALIBRE DL-P Dual Remote Radar with Pods

CALIBRE SL Single Remote Radar

CALIBRE SL-P Single Remote Radar with Pod
'
Pricing is in the high upper hundreds and up..

there has to be some point when reality clicks in and says... should i spend close to 1k to prevent myself from being nailed by the cops, or should i just spend the 1k on audio instead and drive slowly.

either way that would be a nice addition to a supra or something that needs it.

According to radarbusters (http://www.radarbusters.com/landing/k40-calibre.asp), the installed asking price for the K40 is $1499.95.

I hated the ticket I got last weekend (87 in a 65, will cost $150 + 3 points), but the K40 doesn't seem to be the solution, based on the price and Radar Roy's review (not very impressed):

"One of the reviewers commented, 'By the time the unit detected our Ka band radar gun, the driver could get out of his car and throw rocks at us and hit us'!"

Guess I'll keep looking for a good deal on a V1 . . .
