firewall grommet

I have a 97 max w/bose. Where the hell can I put a power wire through the firewall? I saw a little hole behind the ECU, but there doesn't seem to be hole in the firewall there. Where are people putting the power wire through the firewall for amp?

There's nothing in the FAQ about this and I didn't see anything in the FSM.

Below the fuel filter about 3 inches there is a rubber grommet that you can remove to route wires through to the cabin. Ive always run mine under the car and back to the trunk. There is a grommet at the back of the wheel well you can remove to run the wire in that way.

Soundsl like a PITA to get to. Well, I think I'll just wait till I do my 3.5 swap and run the wire then.

I really need to take a pic of where I drilled my firewall so this question stops popping up every few days. Theres no need to run your wiring under the car.

you can drill a hole next to the clutch master cylinder.
or feed it through the plate that covers where the auto tranny shift cable was suppose to go, you can fit at least 5 zero gauge cables through that location if you removed the plate.. (at least on 5th gens)
