Need help with my clifford/viper alarm.

I have the clifford Matrix3.5/Vipervx791 my original remote broke and i bought a new one, when I use remote start it doesn't crank all the way. Like if u stuck ur key in then went to start it but didn't hold it till it started. Is there a way that I can make it crank longer?

1. Open a door.
2. Turn ignition on with the key, then back off.
3. Hold the valet button. It will chirp once, then twice, then 3 times, then let go of the valet button.
4. Push and release the valet button 5 times, and after you release it the 5th time, push it back down and hold it.
5. Push the unlock button on your remote. The siren should chirp twice.
6. Let go of the valet button, and close the open door. The siren will probably go off for just a second, then act normal.
7. Remote start it and test.
8. Post back results.

Indubitably. The CC shop bitwriter works fine for me when I feel the need to use it. But Ive got way more important things I could spend a hundred bucks on right now. Like the double kegger I had at my place last night

Thats a wiring issue, not a programming feature. Programming is either flashing or solid on.

Ok I did exactly as you told me......But it only starts now 3 out of 5 times. It will start sometimes and sometimes it will just crank for a sec then stop. Then for the next 2-3 times it will do full cranks then go back to cranking for a sec and stopping. What may be the problem?

If it now starts 3 out of 5 times, how many times did it start before?

P.S. To increase crank time another 0.2 sec, do everything I said in post 2, except it should chirp 3 times in Step 5 instead of twice.

You can try setting it to voltage sense
Heres the install manual which has all the menu options in case you need it

I agree. The only car Ive needed to extend crank time is my roommates 240, but thats because he has a JDM motor swap running off an Everstart lawn&garden battery because its the only thing that fits in his engine bay.

Yes, but he can try to eliminate causes of the problem.
