Anyone Have Sirius With Your Bose Headunit? Looking For The Best Options

I want to get Sirius satellite radio for our '02 Maxima with Bose. I'm just wondering how those of you that have Sirius in your Maxima's have done it. I prefer something that we can take out of the car and listen to it in the house as well. Is an FM modulator our only option? What are some of your experiences?

You should be able to use this http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=610
or this http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=320

Either sounds better than an FM Modulator IMO

The first link is only for Bose systems with a CD/Chg button which the '02 Maxima's do not have. The second link is for XM Satellite radio, is there something like that for Sirius? Any other idea's?

Let me try to phrase this a different way. For those that have Sirius and have not replaced your stock bose head units how do you have the Satellite radio hooked up?

I used the JVC Plug-n-Play Sirius unit and a cassette adapter. Sounds pretty good to me, much better than the built in modulator that comes with the unit. I wanted to hook it up via aux input, so that's one of the reasons I just replaced the head unit. But the cassette adapter with the Bose sounded very good as well.

Thanks for the reply. I was wondering about the cassette adapter for a while now. Does using the cassette adapter hurt the stereo sound? Stereo as in Stereo vs Analog.

I'm looking at this too - my 00 bose has a changer button. I thought the 02 did as well. In any event the aux input in the link above is listed for 1998-03
