me and my buddy just tried to install a code alarm 430.. it is a factory keyless entry upgrade. it adds a remote starter to the keyless entry on my 97. i did all the work but its just too confusing to program the thing. has anyone done this upgrade and can you help me out with it, cuz its really confusing.

 

Follow the instructions...if you can install it you can program it. Even though it is an @ss backwards Audiovox/Code.

 

it keeps saying to look back at section see in the selectable options area. BUT there is no section C. grrrr. i did the 'boot up' sequence. . and i tried to see if it would start but when i do the double click it just makes five beeping sounds and my guages bink 5 times.. and no start. even more grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

 

anyone?? please help me out!! this is supposed to be the coldest winter over the past few years!! i dont wanna get into a FREEZING cold car with Freezing cold leather.

 

Theres a list towards the back of the install manual telling you what 5 flashes means. i.e. Its reading your hood pin is open, its reading the brake is depressed, it hasnt learned the tach, etc etc.
