So what do you guys think about this fusion audio set...

http://www.fusioncaraudio.com/produc...product_id=241

so I've been browsing this section for the past hour and came across the hardest hitting10" sub thread... where i found the link to fusion audios website

anyway, I'm looking to basically add some nice clean hitting bass to a stock 01 bose setup using the pac adaptor

the reason I'm leaning towards this fusion set is that includes everything (box, amp etc...) and is within my price range ($300-400)

any input/suggestions appreciated

In that thread, Manny siad the JONA(sp) was the sub you would be interested in. But it doesn't go with your budget. I also have no experience with them.

It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you just want a little bump. That would probably suit your needs and your budget. Most of the mid to higher end stuff we will recommend will cost a few pennies more.

but yeah, like filtor said, if that setup fits your budget, then by all means go for it.

I was also looking at the soundsplinters and just noticed you have a nice setup going...

how much do you think an RL-i10 setup would run me (with suggested enclosure and amp, since I'm not an expert on amps)

if the quality is a lot better than what I'm looking at now then i don't mind dishing out some extra pennies

Soundspinter is a nice choice . i personally have never heard of fusion audio in person, so i don't know how they compare, but with sound splinter, you won't be disappointed.

The RL-i 10 goes for $169, and is an excellent SQ sub. They work well with 250 to 350 watts, in enclosures from .4 to .8 cu ft.

If you want a lot more info, I'd email Mike, the CEO of Sound Splinter. He's pretty good in replying the same day so you'll get the info fast.

well i shouldnt say no real experience. from what i have heard from the distributor where my shop gets their products from, they are dropping the line because of the poor quality

They dropped the line because Keystone now distributes it. Had nothing to do with quality.

I don't think that package is that bad for the price. Plus it's ported the output of it will probably be in the area of what you're looking for.
