pioneer amps
i know not the greatest, but need a little extra bump. I just have one question, the amp works good but when i bridge it, the amp cuts out. If i turn down the volume then it starts over till i turn it up again. any ideas. the amp model number is GM-520T. 760 watts thanks LOST
sounds like you have your subs wired down too low of a load for the amp to handle. a lot of amps are only stable down to 4 ohms when bridged. anything lower and it'll go to protect mode to prevent damage to itself.
what sub(s) are you running and how are they wired?

I had this same problem with a pioneer 800watt 2002 model(firestarter recall amp). I had to turn the gain down but it only helped a little. I finally disconnected it, and threw it in the closet and went with something else. I had to use it earlier this year for a few months and it doesn't do it any more. I'm thinking it was a ground problem which I did find out later that my 4 ga. ground was soming loose. Once I took care of that everything was good an no more cutting out.
