Best speaker, amp, subwoofer options...

What are the Best speaker, amp, subwoofer options for a 2006 Maxima with OEM sound system? Should've gotten the Bose...maybe it isn't too late to retrofit the Bose system.

I am considering Polk Audio speakers (all 8) with Infinity amp and Bazooka sub from Circuit City.

I need some expert advise!

"best" is too subjective to the person listening to the equipment. what's your budget? maybe we can recommend something for you (unless you're set on those polks and bazooka sub you mentioned)

Uhhh no no and no. No bose, no Bazooka, and no Circuit ****ty.

Now you'll get everybody recommending theyre' favorite speaker or sub...yada yada yada.

Here's my beginning recommendations and go from there.

Make a budget. If it's a low budget but you want a complete system....

A nice 4 channel amp, a nice component set, a nice but inexpensive sub and box, some dampening, and someone /a shop that knows how to install, and maybe a lil more dampening and sealing of your doors . A head unit, maybe one with a little processing (crossovers, equalizers) wouldn't hurt, but might not be totally necessary to get the results you want.

It may be worth looking into some of the "real" audio shops around where you live, but be careful. They may suck too Ask around.

CARYL ANN!!! DONT GO INTO THE LIGHT!!!! COME BACK TO US CAR...ooooh im trippin...please follow what they said and dont go for that. If you do cc subs at least get the mtxs. but all in alll your money will be better spent with a dealer here **cough don**cough cough** Where are you?

The polks arent bad if you go with the momo comps, but polk has been less than stellar in all other offerings for a LONG Time. bazooka? I get them wholesale and the amount your going to pay Circuit City for their air conditioning and flourescent lights will make you cry if you know how much the markup is.

get a jl6450 run anything but that and call it a day. Ascendant has had some luck with sound splinter and I still like ascendant audio. Adire as well can get you off the beaten path. If your looking to mainstream it go pioneer at least.
