Amp stuck on protect :(

my sub amp is stuck on protect.. no idea why or how it got there, just one day while cruising and listening to tunes (mid volume), it just shut off.. it happened once before a longgg time ago, but i was really cranking it and i just shut the deck off, turned it back on and it was fine..

had a cap, disconnected it, no difference
disconnected amp entirely, reconnected, no difference, its just stuck..

dont know what else to do, i really don't like this amp, but i got it for basically nothing, and it worked fine thats why i haven't yet upgraded. P Miller Bazooka 800w monoblock.

anyone??

Time to upgrade....especially if you dont really like the amp, which you have no reason to. Theyre nothing special. I think I fried one back in the day when we carried them at CC running two Type S 12s at 1 ohm.
