Pioneer GPS, need some advice...
I was looking at this Pioneer AVIC-80DVD\RB on e-bay. Seems like a good deal although it is refurbished. They claim full warranty?? Does anybody have any good/bad advice about Pioneer GPS??

I would look elsewhere. Just look at the number of negatives and they have almost 600 neutrals.
Here is a link from MTX's website. It is regarding some experiences people have had with that same seller.

I wouldnt trust indo as far as I could throw them. Theres a few investigations going on about them as well. Theyre not dealers for anything, in fact just a few kids.
Nice guys thanks a bunch, I was hoping to pick it up from them in person because they are really close. Now maybe I'll just drive by with a fire bomb!!
I'm over it, I love the .org so helpful!!!!

If it is refurbished it will be covered by warranty as long as the seller is an authorized dealer; keep the receipt. It comes with a steering wheel remote and is fine if you are hooking up to a pioneer unit that has the 26 pin nav in. (6400cd-7500dvd, basically the newer pioneer indash units) If you decide to use it standalone you have to buy the cd26rgb, cdt36, and the full remote from the dealer or somewhere online as well.
