Exactly where do I put it?

If this is posted anywhere then I apologize for reposting, but I couldn't find anything that said exactly where to put the sound deadening material. Here is a pic of my passenger front & rear doors. I also noticed that there are only 3 drilled holes for the stock Bose speaker. Do I need to drill another hole for each speaker for the install? I am going to sell my stock Bose door speakers for those that are interested.

I left the driver's door together so I could roll my window up/down, but that speaker is for sale, too.

On the deadener, it depends on your system. If your just upgrading the door speakers or adding subs and how much you are willing to buy.

As for the door speakers, just use some self taping screws when mounting the new drivers. Remember you may need a spacer for the front doors. Depending on the mounting depth.

This is going to be my set-up. I am plan on buying some Damplifier from Second Skin Audio for the doors and trunk. How much SQ FT should I need for this?

All excelent choices for equipment. I did 216sqft/6 bulk packs of Stinger Roadkill Extreme and wish I had more, but I am obsessive. Normal folks won't need that much. How much you need is up to you. I recommend at least 2 bulk pack of 36sqft. This is the minimum I would get. Do directly behind the door speakers and then cover the inside(where the plastic is) except all the way to the edges of the door. You should have enough left to do the trunk lid and the top of the rear deck. Start with that and see how much you have left over. There is a pretty good description of what myself and other have done in the deadener thread in the stickies. Check it out.

Yes it is a weather barrier. As long as you replace it with the deadener, you will be fine.
