Hi everyone,

Does anyone have a Pioneer CD deck installed in their Maxima? I just installed a P7200 and realized that the antenna goes up even when I listen to CDs. With my stock deck, the antenna goes up only when I listen to the radio.

I would like to know the reason why the antenna goes up when I listen to CDs. Is it because of the design of the Pioneer deck or improper installation?

Thanks in advance.

Mine does the same thing, I have the same deck. It's the design of the deck. Doesn't bother me too much =)

That's because your deck has only one remote output trigger wire. In some decks there's a power anenna trigger wire and a remote output wire for turning on amplifiers or acfessories. The factory system has separate triggers....
