I sold a 6 disk bose unit to an org member and he can not get it to work. I sent him the font trim panel and th 6 disk unit. He plugged it in and it will nto take disks. I know it worked so i'm trying to figure out whats up. It came from an 04 iparted out. It was a loaded se andhad the bose unit with the diplay but no nav. He is putting it in a car with bose but had a single disk. Any help or anyone done this. Nissan says it wont work but we know how much help they are sometimes.

 

If its a 6th gen it should be plug and play.. Ive taken mine out a few times and just replugged it and it worked fine. So you tested it before you sold it right?

 

Any chance there is some kind of anti theft circuit involved?

If you parted an 04 does that mean it was wreaked??? Were you able to verify proper operation before or after the crash???

 

It wont have bose with a single disk. Unless it was replaced by a previous owner. The unit is bad, Its plug an play. I almost bought that thing too

 

S o will this work wih a non-bose setup then?
