I have 2 cheapo 12" Dual subs in a ported box, and everything in the back rattles like a b*tch! I hate it, makes my car sound broken from the outside, but i can only rarely slightly hear it inside the car. Sounds good inside, but not outside. Im thinking of Dynomat but thats too expensive for me!

I have 2 RF he2 15`s fed ~1300wrms off an audiocontrol processor and Lanzar 1200D. Sounds great inside and out front but the rear deck rattles and back trunk assembly badly.

I have 3 layers of DE in the trunk and the trunk still flexes like crazy. Got some stuff here that will take care of it all just finding the time to do it has been a real pain. Either the car is in the shop for something or I'm out of town. Maybe tomorrow if the rain let's up here I can get out and do some things. Will be switching to a vented box with the 2 RF DVC's I have along with a 2000RMS Hifonics in about 3 weeks. Should be hitting some good DB after the switch.

Just to help you guys out please use higher end dampening materials than edead. I went the cheap route with edead and cured my rattling issues but they are slowly come back because its all falling off and melting. I happend to take my door panels off last august and ended up with a face like this --->
Yes, it was well preped and wasn't first dampening project

Who knows what my trunk lid looks like since the rattling is coming back. I put some little pieces of foam inbetween the spoiler and the trunk lid to get rid of that nasty rattle.

i had a roll of carpet padding in the basement that i cut and filled every hole and nook and cranny i could find on the top and sides of the drunk and also layed a strip where trunk meets bumper...the trunk still closes but it gets rid of any empty space to make the trunk rattle up and down....most of my initial rattle came from the spoiler but i got enough packing in the trunk that it doesnt rattle too much unless i crank it

Most of my rattling comes from my spoiler. I was wondering if anyone knew how to take off the stock spoiler of a 97? I believe that the wing is held on by clips but im not 100% sure. And part of my spoiler is already poped off of the clips believed tobe broken so if anyone could enlighten me on removing it so i can either buy some clips of find some other way to attach it that would be helpful thanks.

fill ur trunk up with foam insulation and toss a match in there. But seriosuly there is no cheap way to deaden the right way. tar based deadeners smell like *** in the summer when it gets hot

I have a 98 maxima gle and the rear spoiler bolts are broken on the right side..it looks like the bottoms of the spolier itself is broken.

is there any way to fix this or do i have to order a new spoiler or find one in the junk yark.
