Hows this sub?

hey my buddy just gave me this sub for free it looks pretty sick but I dont know anything about audio equipment. He actually gave me 2 to chose from either this sub or a couple of infinity 10s in a box I dont know which one to go with. here are the stats on the one

Its a fusion power factory 12"

Also I saw that one site said that this sub has a rating of 900 watts max and others say it has a handling power of 900watts I dont know which one and dont know how to find out which is true.

I am lookin for more of a pounding bass. What amp should I use to power this thing?

well 900 max is its thermal limit. you don't usually send a sub that much power. i would get the infinity over the fusion. what's your budget for the amp?

BTW the 2 10"s arent Infinitys they are CDT MS-100 I just found that out. Supposedly the CDT subs are great SQ and the the Fusion can put out some good SPL numbers. One guy got 144db off 1 Fusion FPW-1200 but the 2 10s should do a decent job with SPL too.

I still have no idea how to power these. I know I am probably going with a high-low converter running off my back speakers. I wonder if I could run the High-low off my 8" bose subwoofer that came with the car seeing how only low frequencies should be going there anyway
