I did the swap since my old bose cd player was broken but the FM radio worked fine on it.. now its backwards, the replacement bose headunit which i bought off ebay (came from a 99 maxima) cant pick up decent reception, its not even listenable quality but its cd player works... I have two questions

1) Bad HU
2) 99 Max antenna isnt the same as 95 Max

Make sure that its plugged in properly. The reception should be almost identical. I had both units as well.
