I may need a new CD player in my 96 Maxima because my current Bose system isn't functioning correctly. The AM/FM function works, but the CD player doesn't play the CD's - it kicks them out right after I put them in. Is there any way this can easily be fixed? If not, I'm looking at a 97/98 Bose system on eBay - it's about $50 right now - can you put a 97/98 Bose system into a 96 Maxima? Thanks for any input.

Any 4th gen Bose deck is interchangeable and plug and play.
