You really don't need to go the 2 ohm route if you have the right amp.

I can check, but easier if you gave me a budget to work with.

I would have to look into that, not a common seller

AM radio

na, he's half and half. It's mainly because I need to get all his music organized for him. I'm just going to throw it on an Ipod, it's kind of a PITA right now.

Got the XXV-01D installed. I would have prefered an Eclipse but it's still a nice HU. I don't use it often and it's not mine so no complaints from me

His Bimmer

I sold my Maxima on 12/21/05

Only thing my Mustang has in the trunk is a nitrous bottle
I'll be building a stereo for it, but not for quite a while. Durango just needs the factory speakers replaced and I figured for $160ish a Basslink II is cheap fun for my sister/dad (otherwise it wouldn't have anything).

Speaker replacement is easy, but why 2Ohm?

Not a "system" just something thatll sound good and be inexpensive and will outlast just replacements. Aside from that, can always be carried to the next car....

Problem is the only place to put an amp inside it is under the middle row middle seat (not really going to happen) and inside the rear storage compartment. It also has to be a fairly small amp as in the middle of the compartment is the spare tire winch and on the left side it has the jack and stuff. Can't be mounted on the back of any seats because we use this truck and I swear to you if they are they they will have skis/snowboards/mountain bikes/wood boards/luggage/etc thrown on them. Not to mention with the seats laid down it makes a rather comfy bed. Regardless the only reason my Dad said sure to the basslink was because I told him I can make it 110% easily removable and will no way interfere with the functionality of the truck.

As for carrying on to the next car, he bought it new in 98 and has told me time and time again he will not sell it because he uses it far too much for summer trips, snow driving, and towing/hauling crap. No need to worry about that. I repaired the front passenger speaker and it's held up great. I could just do the same for the rears but it's really kinda . I only fixed the front one to see if I could do it and thought it would be fun, I didn't think it would actually work (or atleast last this long)
