help with remote start alarm Door Actuator

i want to buy a set online, but i need to know how many actuators do i need, is it one for all the doors, or each door needs one. please help asap

You shouldn't need any. You tap into the existing system at the BCM.

edit: I'm sorry it's not the BCM, it's the module in the driver's door. Check this thread for more info: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=356731

They wont control the windows at the BCM though. Only in the doors.

Chris is actually very knowledgeable on this stuff, as I have had a few convos with him on the DEI forums. Although I dont believe he tested windows, and I can confirm they dont work from there...

so can i just buy the alarm and have it installed or will they tell me in the shop i need more things to buy??? i have an 05 max

I would recommend getting the alarm from the shop doing the install. Or drive down to Jersey.

i tried coming NJ

you promised to call me back last week to let me know how you are backed up and never did, so i just bought the clifford 3.5 for 229 online and when it comes in im getting rates of $150 to install it, maybe you charge less for org memebers let me know.

With all due respect and my apologies. You shoulda tried calling back, or sending me an email/PM.

Now you have an alarm that you just sacrificed a lifetime warranty on. I hope for you that it stays functioning.

my car is a lease im gonna have it for 2 more years so im not worried about that, but can you install it?

Since your gonna have it for two years, wouldnt you wanna make sure it stays working for the duration?

Sure, I can install it, but you will have No Warranty regardless.

My price would be the same. Expecially since Im not even supposed to install them.
